Business purpose
Notice to Receive — sent by an account owner (or a party acting for them) to their account-servicing institution as advance notice that funds will arrive for credit to the account, so the receiving bank can anticipate and match the incoming payment.
What does NOT map cleanly
camt.057 is a reporting message outside the November 2025 cross-border payment-instruction cutover. Swift lists it as MT210's message-level successor, with a bank-published field translation example, but that does not make every field identical. The ISO 'Notice to Receive' family extends beyond MT210: camt.058 cancels a prior notice (Swift also lists MT292 against camt.058), while camt.059 reports its status. Neither is another name for MT210. camt.057 can carry multiple expected items and information without a direct FIN field counterpart.
Migration notes
Swift lists MT210 to camt.057 among reporting-message correspondences that remain supported after the November 2025 cross-border payment-instruction cutover. The cited ISO 20022 maintenance report defines camt.057, but does not itself establish a network-wide MT210 retirement date.
