PaymentBrief is committed to factual accuracy. When errors are identified — by readers, by the author, or through source updates — they are corrected promptly and noted here. This page is the public record of all material corrections made to published content.
How to report an error
If you find a factual error, an outdated figure, or a claim that is unsupported by its cited source, email contact@paymentbrief.com with:
- The URL of the page containing the error
- The specific claim you believe is incorrect
- The source or evidence you believe is correct
Reports are reviewed within five business days. If the error is confirmed, the article is corrected and a note is added to the corrections log below.
Severity classification
- Material
- A factual claim that is wrong and could lead a reader to make an incorrect operational or commercial decision — for example, a wrong MDR rate, an incorrect regulatory threshold, or a misattributed policy. These are corrected within 24 hours of confirmation and logged below.
- Minor
- Typographical errors, formatting issues, outdated but not misleading figures, or broken links. These are fixed on a rolling basis and are not individually logged unless the underlying data changed materially.
- Clarification
- Content that is technically accurate but has caused reader confusion. The original claim is retained and a clarifying note is added.
